Gary Vaynerchuk – “Building Your Personal Brand Online”

What better way to kick off 2009 than heading to New York City to attend Inman Connect real estate conference? This conference was a great way to solidify IRL (in real life) relationships with so many I’ve known in the online world for over a year in some cases. I also had the ability to meet a ton of great people I hadn’t met before. Plus, I got to learn all sorts of new things to hopefully help improve my real estate career and provide better information and content for you, the reader.

One of the major highlights of this event was getting to see Gary Vaynerchuk give a keynote presentation. If you don’t know who Gary is, you should. He hosts winelibrary.tv and has become a national speaker teaching about personal branding. He is not quiet or shy about his passion which is apparent as soon as you see him. Even though this was being presented to a bunch of real estate professionals there are business truths for everyone in here. It is only 30 minutes and worth sitting and watching. Enjoy the show!

  2. Thanks! I'm watching the @garyvee video now. I've read a couple of blog posts arguing "this won't work in real estate."

    We do not sell houses. We sell lifestyles, knowledge, personality, skills. How the buyer receives the message has markedly changed, and yet many of us in the real estate industry are holding tight to the 'getting back to the basics' mantra. That's all well and good if that's where the fish are. I'm fishing in another lake. How about you?
