Day 11: English Estate Winery

Day 11 of 365…

~~A bottle of red, a bottle of white
It all depends upon your appetite~~

English Estate Winery is a wonderful local wine maker that has a wonderful variety of wines for all different enthusiasts. Whether you enjoy a nice Pinot, Cab, Chardonnay, or any variety of their sweets you’ll be happy you went. Huge variety of wine at English Estate WineryMy personal favorite is the Port of Vancouver. It is not a full traditional Port but it is wonderful.

The English Estate has been an east Vancouver establishment around 100 years. They have been growing the wine grapes since 1980. They are open all year round from Noon to 6PM Friday through Sunday. If you haven’t been out to a tasting or event there now’s the time. In fact, TODAY is the perfect day! They are having an event today with Vancouver’s own Garlic Lady. The Garlic Lady will be sampling their olives, garlic and asparagus plus you can do wine tasting too. You’ll likely end up leaving with a new bottle of wine or two and some tasty Garlic Lady wares as well. Garlic Lady will be there from 1PM to 6PM.

Between now and March 14th, 2010 Andee has made available to fans of “365 Things” the following special! (Yes, you can use this today)

Complimentary 7 taste for you AND a friend if you mention you saw this on “365 Things”.

English Estate Winery is located at 17806 SE 1st St., Vancouver, WA 98684 and can be reached at (360) 772-5141. English Estate Winery is on Facebook here. Add them as a fan! Also, don’t forget to ask them about their BIBB and Wine Club!

(sorry for the wind noise while I’m outside)

(Thank you Billy Joel for the intro lyrics to this post)
