Day 23: Pepper’s Taqueria in Downtown Vancouver

Day 23 of 365…

Today my day led me to Pepper’s Taqueria on 8th and Main Street in downtown Vancouver. I’ve frequented Pepper’s for more than 10 years and always enjoyed everything I’ve eaten. Tonight I had the Thai Peanut Rolled Quesadilla off the Happy Hour menu. It was awesome! Our bartender Nicole was wonderful. Very friendly and a real joy. In addition to my I enjoyed a couple of tacos that Pepper’s provides in the bar for free on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Their meat was a mixture of beef and potatoes and had great flavor. As always, the fresh salsa rocks!

On Fridays and Saturdays Pepper’s has live music which is a big hit. My daughter and I stopped and listened a few during last Friday nights Artwalk. The place had a great turnout. There were lots of people dancing and enjoying the music, food and drinks. I believe they also host poker a couple nights a week. You can call them to get more details at (360) 737-0322.
