Day 158: Homestead Park

Day 158 of 365…

When my son was just a toddler we lived a couple blocks from Homestead Park on the east side of Cascade Park and we loved walking and playing in it. Homestead Park is just as great now as it was all those years ago.

This 6.2 acre park features a .4 mile outer walking track, a ton of huge open grassy area, picnic tables, bbq grills, several play structures and a few things that look like you could use them to exercise with (although my body wouldn’t be familiar with them). There are also lots of beautiful trees to provide plenty of shade for those who don’t want to get out in the sun.

Homestead Park is located on the far east side of Cascade Park at SE 160th Avenue and SE 18th Street, Vancouver, WA 98683
