Day 222: Thatcher’s Coffee

Day 222 of 365…

This morning my daughter and I braved the pouring rain along with several hundred others to support the Kalani Rodrigues Memorial Scholarship Run/Walk. We did the 5k walk while others did the 5k and 10k runs. After we finished our walk around Clark College’s beautiful campus we were treated to a luau which was wonderful.

As we left we decided a nice warm drink would be nice so we headed off to “discover” a new place. I have several friends who keep recommending Thatcher’s Coffee so that’s where we ventured. Thatcher’s Coffee is in the new Grand Central complex where Grand Blvd meets Highway 14.

We both ordered Vanilla Chai Latte’s and my daughter ordered a chocolate brownie cookie (I might have sampled it… Research ya know) The Chai’s were excellent and my daughter loved the chocolate brownie cookie (okay, so did I).
