Day 244: City Sandwich in Downtown Vancouver, WA

Day 244 of 365…

Nothing like sitting down along the Columbia Waterfront enjoying a sunny fall day while eating a great sandwich. Today that sandwich was made for me by City Sandwich Company and it was wonderful. Years ago I used to eat there once in a while but it had been a while.

I love the whole New York style they have about them. From the cool brick exterior to their eclectic city paraphernalia inside they have a very cool vibe. The artwork inside ties it all together quite nicely. Their selection is just as good. Not only do they do a huge variety of deli sandwiches, they do burgers, salads, soups and more. They are also open for breakfast and serve Tully’s Coffee. Perhaps you need a larger amount of food served? City Sandwich Company also does catering!

I enjoyed a Turkey Bacon with guacamole on sourdough and it was excellent. Huge amount of turkey, great bacon and just the right amount of guac. Not pouring out, just right. I think the next time I stop in I’m going to have their Hawaiian burger. That sounds so good!
