Day 113: Caffe Piccolo Paradiso

Day 113 of 365…

Caffe Piccolo ParadisoToday I had the privilege of meeting with Brandie Kajino of the SOHO Solutionist to do an interview for her podcast. We had a wonderful visit and I think the episode turned out great. Thanks Brandie!

She suggested we meet at a quaint little shop in downtown Camas called Caffe Piccolo Paradiso and what a treat that was. If Camas and eastern Vancouver had a Cheers this would be it! This is THE place where everybody knows your name. Brandie Kajino Krista Colvin and Dale Chumbley at Caffe Piccolo ParadisoWhile there I was introduced to more than a half dozen regulars including local superstar Krista Colvin. Krista and I have been online friends for a couple years but never managed to cross our paths in a face to face setting. Today that was finally remedied. It was extra special seeing Krista since she’s currently putting on her big girl panties + kicking breast cancer in the a$$! As a cancer survivor myself this really touches home. I’m rooting for you Krista!

Chai at Caffe Piccolo ParadisoBack to Caffe Piccolo Paradiso… This place rocks! Wonderful ambiance, great coffee (so the gals said), awesome Chai, Pam the owner is super nice, free WiFi, cool decor… What more do you need. The pastries and food looked awesome as well. Next time I’ll get something to eat. If you’re in the area I’d recommend you stop in and say hi to the “regulars”. You never know, you might just make a new friend. ๐Ÿ™‚ I know I made several.

Thank you to everyone I met today at Caffe Piccolo Paradiso. You all were wonderful and I’m sure our paths will cross again in the future.

Caffe Piccolo Paradiso is located at 309 NE Birch Street, Camas, WA 98607 and can be reached at 360-834-7044.

I love, love, love Cafe Piccolo. When Krista Colvin first invited me to meet her here earlier this year, I thought, "What's the big fuss?" Once I'd spent a couple of hours chatting with friends and couldn't help but notice that they knew everyone who walked in, I "got" it. It's like you said, Dale, it's the Cheers of the cafe world. Thanks for profiling it.

It was my pleasure Mary. I was amazed at how many people I met in the time I was there. I was serious about "crashing" in on your next trip to Caffe Piccolo. ๐Ÿ™‚
