We have the cutest tea and gift shop downtown Vancouver. They carry over 100 different kinds of tea and you can get any of them made for you on-site while you sit, relax and enjoy your tea and maybe even one of their fresh made scones. This place I’m talking about is The Enchanted Gift Shop & Tea Room and you really should go check them out.
This is not your “quick drive through in a rush” place to go. This is the place you want to go to stop and enjoy what life has to offer. Slow down the rat race pace and enjoy the silence. Sipping whatever tea you choose, visiting with a friend and taking life in. You might like to stroll around and look at all the local art on the walls, look at the great gifts they carry, buy a few gifts for those special people in your life. All the teas are very well labeled and displayed so that you can smell them and make your decision. Many of the blends are created by the owners. I spent some time visiting with Jody, one of the owners and she was a wonderful resource to explain some of their different teas.
Perhaps you’d like to meet fellow tea lovers? Then you might enjoy attending one of their Enchanted Afternoon Teas that happen each weekend. They sound like they’re a lot of fun and I’d encourage you to stop in for one. As I mentioned, they prepare fresh scones here and a couple most recent ones I noticed on their Facebook page were a warm pomegranate lemon scones and a Gingerbread scone. Can you say “yum”!
