Like the name says… This place is ROCKIN!

Day 33 of 365…

Looking for awesome wings and a cool atmosphere? Let me introduce you to Rockin Wings in the Cascade Park area of Vancouver. I’ve driven by many times but today thought I’d Venture in to check it out. I was very impressed. At the counter they have a sample station of all 24 of their current flavors. I tried Thai Peanut, Gariyaki, Ginger Garlic, Honey Bourbon, Sweet BBQ, Mustard Mania and Teriyaki. I loved them all. Rockin Wings gariyaki sauceI got two orders of wings, Gariyaki (garlic and teriyaki) and Thai Peanut. Both did NOT disappoint. They had just the right amount of crisp on the outside, moist tender chicken on the inside. The flavors exploded in my mouth. I’m not a spicy eater so I love having some options that aren’t going to burn me and these were wonderful. For those of you who are hot lovers… There are plenty of options to make you break a sweat. If you’re feeling really brave why not go for the Wall Of Flame by eating at least 15 of their Stupid Wings.

Rockin Wings is locally owned and operated by Randy and Barbara Bogle. If the name Bogle sounds familiar it may be because Randy’s dad Bob Bogle was one of the co-founders of The Ventures back in 1958. That’s right, a little bit of music legend lives on in our very own Rockin Wings. The whole vibe of this place is very cool. You can enjoy the big screen tv’s, pool table, video games and great music being played throughout the place. Remember, this place is not fast food. The wings are all farm fresh super jumbo wings with no hormones or antibiotics and they are not pre-cooked. Each order takes at least 15 minutes to cook so don’t get antsy. Order a drink, relax and enjoy the experience.

Rockin Wings has been kind enough to offer the fans of “365 Things” this special:

Either print this out or tell them you saw this on “365 Things” and they’ll give you 10% off your order. Hurry over since this will expire on April 11th, 2010.

They also have some wonderful sounding things on the menu besides wings. My next visit will include the Smores Nachos or the Peanut Butter, Banana & Chocolate Fried Wrap. Mmmm…

They are open 7 days a week. They are located at 16209 SE McGillivray Blvd, Ste A Vancouver, WA 98683 and can be reached at (360) 256-9464. While you’re at it, fan them up on Facebook.
