Here we are three weeks into this “365 Things” adventure. For those who’ve been here since the beginning, thank you. For those just discovering this site, welcome and I hope you enjoy this. The whole point of this is to highlight things to do in (AND AROUND) Vancouver, WA. My hope is for people to get up, leave their computers and get together with friends and family and discover the things that I believe make this a wonderful place to live…

Day 21 of 365…

If you haven’t yet been to Big Al’s you are missing out! Big Al’s is a fabulous bowling alley. It’s not just any regular bowling alley though… It’s so much more. They feature 30 traditional bowling lanes, 12 lounge style bowling lanes, a 4,000 square foot arcade with 100 player positions that is fun for kids of all ages. This place is fun, fun, fun! The food is great, the atmosphere is great, It’s worth the trip. Plus, Big Al’s actually has a guest appearance in my video on the top right side of my blog. Harrison Ford Seen Downtown Vancouver, WA

Yes, I did in fact get to see Harrison Ford today at lunchtime. I also was fortunate enough to get a photo (thankfully you will rarely find me without a camera in hand!). Take a look at the pic I got. I must say, I’m pretty impressed with it.

Harrison Ford is in town shooting the “The Untitled Crowley Project”. This film features Ford and also Brendan Fraser. I wasn’t fortunate enough to see Brendan. They’ve been in town for a few days shooting in Portland. There is still a shoot scheduled for Big Al’s

Clark County Does Hollywood

Well, maybe not full blown Hollywood but pretty close. This promotional short film was created for a Blog Makeover Contest put on by InmanNews. Believe it or not, I was not the winner of the contest but I am a winner to have such a great promotional video to show off this blog and our community.

This video has been living over there on the upper right side for a while now but I want to give some proper credit for all the effort that went into it. My friend Chris Martin of Chris Martin Studios is the mastermind behind this whole production. I shared with Chris my hopes and goals of the video and he listened and came up with something that far exceeded my expectations!
