Well, maybe not full blown Hollywood but pretty close. This promotional short film was created for a Blog Makeover Contest put on by InmanNews. Believe it or not, I was not the winner of the contest but I am a winner to have such a great promotional video to show off this blog and our community.

This video has been living over there on the upper right side for a while now but I want to give some proper credit for all the effort that went into it. My friend Chris Martin of Chris Martin Studios is the mastermind behind this whole production. I shared with Chris my hopes and goals of the video and he listened and came up with something that far exceeded my expectations! Yes, my friend Maureen Francis pulled out the “big gun” Kid Rock to get the win. Way to go Maureen. I can’t wait to see what the Real Estate Tomato does for your big makeover!

What better way to kick off 2009 than heading to New York City to attend Inman Connect real estate conference? This conference was a great way to solidify IRL (in real life) relationships with so many I’ve known in the online world for over a year in some cases. I also had the ability to meet a ton of great people I hadn’t met before. Plus, I got to learn all sorts of new things to hopefully help improve my real estate career and provide better information and content for you, the reader.

One of the major highlights of this event was getting to see Gary Vaynerchuk give a keynote presentation. If you don’t know who Gary is, you should. He hosts winelibrary.tv and has become a national speaker teaching about personal branding. He is not quiet or shy about his passion which is apparent as soon as you see him. Even though this was being presented to a bunch of real estate professionals there are business truths for everyone in here. It is only 30 minutes and worth sitting and watching. Enjoy the show!
