Day 86 of 365…
Does your child love playing with dump trucks? Are they ever enamored with the big rigs working on construction sites? What if I told you they could actually drive the really big rigs for real? That would be pretty amazing huh? Guess what…
THIS weekend they can do just that. May 15th and 16th is the Annual Dozer Days event that is put on by the Nutter Foundation. This is a fundraiser event for the entire family. It takes place from 11AM to 4PM both days. The following is a little from the main site to explain about Dozer Days:
Dozer Day is an exciting event for the entire family. The fun begins with a a ride into the event on a gigantic articulated hauler. Kids of all ages play to the sound of Radio Disney while riding all kinds of heavy equipment, digging for treasures, tire/pipe crawls and collecting stickers for their hard hats. Grown-ups’ favorites include: digging for real diamonds and competing for bragging rights at the equipment rodeo just to name a few.
This is a ticketed event. They cost $5 for kids/seniors and $7 for adults in advance and will be $8 and $10 at the gate. If you want to order your tickets online you may do so here.
Get out and support local childrens charities and have a blast playing with the big rigs. The event takes place on SE 192nd Avenue off of Highway 14. Just head west at Brady Road. You can’t miss the huge rock quarry!
