Day 109 of 365…
I’ve shared about Fort Vancouver and the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site already. But I haven’t yet shared about a place in the Historic Reserve to get a wonderful meal. Today is that day.
I’d love to introduce you to The Restaurant at the Historic Reserve The Grant House. This place is really wonderful. It is not just a quick, inexpensive dinner. It is designed for when you want to get fancied up a little and have a nice evening out. This wonderful restaurant is located in the Grant House on Officers Row.
From their website:
Dining at
The Restaurant at the Historic ReserveThe Grant House is much more than the food. It is the ambiance and other factors that come into play that make the visit an enjoyable experience. Commanders has soft pastel colored walls, high ceilings, fireplaces, and wine racks, mixed in with history that lingers within the restaurant theme. President Abraham Lincoln stated in a message to Congress in 1862, “fellow Citizens, we cannot escape history.”
I’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed the entire evening. The ambiance, the food, the service and the company. I’d recommend stopping in to enjoy them yourself. If you’d like to gander at their menu you may do so here.
The Restaurant at the Historic Reserve The Grant House is located at 1101 Officers Row, Vancouver, WA 98661. They can be reached at 360-693-2582.
