Day 139 of 365…
This Saturday July 10th, 2010 is the first of what is hoping to become an annual event. From 10am to 4pm you can experience the 4th Plain International Food Festival. What a great way to highlight the huge diversity of International foods this area of Vancouver offers. The 4th Plain corridor is quite diverse and 14 local restaurants and markets will be bringing their food for sampling.
You’ll be able to try foods from Burgerville, Butcher Boys, Dodge City, El Rancho Viejo, Hawaiian Time, La Super, Morela Mexican Grill, Taste of Asia, Grand Central Station, Julia’s Bakery, Daddy D’s BBQ, Thai Little Home, Mini Doughnut Shoppe, and Kilauea Hawaiian Shave Ice.
In addition to all the food there will be local arts & crafts for everyone to enjoy. There will also be mural painting by local artists, school groups and citizens. This festival is free to get into but there will be a cost for the food. I’ve heard that nothing will be over $4 so come hungry and sample many of the places.
The 4th Plain International Food Festival takes place at Warriors Field on the corner of 4th Plain and Norris (just East of Grand Blvd) Vancouver, WA. You can sign up to attend this festival on Facebook here.
