This Saturday, September 18th, 2010 you can experience first hand what life in the evening was like around Fort Vancouver. It’s time for their annual Campfires and Candlelight event.
Campfires and Candlelight’s begins at 3pm and remains open until 10pm. You can wander the Fort Vancouver Historic Reserve enjoying all of the history and you can watch as historians re-enact life in the 1830’s and 1840’s. You’ll hear stories of life and get to witness it first hand.
Fort Vancouver is located on E. 5th Street just west of Reserve. Admission is $5.00 per family; $3.00 per adult and children 15 years and under get in for free.
Come on down and explore this fun place and experience life when it moved just a little slower…
