Day 213 of 365…
Saturday, September 18th, 2010 is the 6th Annual Uptown Village Sip & Stroll event. The Sip & Stroll is a great way to experience many of the wonderful things Vancouver’s Uptown Village has to offer. You’ll have the opportunity to taste many local wines and beers along with some of Uptown Village’s cuisine. There will also be some non-alcoholic sipping options. Many Uptown Village retailers will be open and offering different discounts for the Sip & Stroll event.
Tickets are $25 per person which gets you a souvenir glass and tasting at all the participating shops. There is also a $5 per person option if you are not going to be tasting the beer and wine. THIS EVENT IS FOR AGES 21 AND OVER! Uptown Village Sip & Stroll runs from 4pm until 8:30pm. You’ll start at Cellar 55 located at 1812 Washington Street to get your map, bracelet and souvenir glass.
While wandering you’ll be treated to live music at many of the shops. I was excited to see many of the Uptown Village places that have been highlighted here on 365 Things To Do In Vancouver, WA are participating. Right at the start you’ll get to experience Gouger Cellars Winery. You’ll also get to stop in at Mint Tea, Mon Ami Cafe, Vancouver Pizza and Pop Culture just to name a few…
Everything takes place on Washington Street, Main Street and Broadway in the area south of Fourth Plain Blvd downtown Vancouver, WA. You can connect with Uptown Village Sip & Stroll on Facebook if you like.
