Day 252 of 365…
Today I was cold! I apparently missed the memo that fall/winter IS upon us and ran out the door to show a very vacant (non heated) house in a short sleeve shirt. I know, no sympathy for the one not smart enough to grab a shirt with sleeves or a coat. ;) After being in this house for a while I ended up chilled to my core (interesting side note: an unheated house will actually be colder than outside in the winter).
So, I needed to warm up and I thought I’d discover a new coffee (Chai tea in my case) establishment. I ended up down by the Clark County Courthouse and found The Grind Coffeehouse directly south of there. The Grind had a very cozy feel to it, very living room like with all its furniture to sit and relax on. I also noticed a small stage in the corner and music equipment around. The Grind Coffeehouse offers live music featuring local bands and is also displaying local artists works.
In addition to their locally roasted coffee you’ll also find fruit smoothies and freshly baked desserts. Relax, enjoy a drink and dessert while working. They offer free WiFi too! Thankfully the hot Chai helped warm me up and it was really good as well.
The Grind Coffeehouse is located at 611 West 11th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660 and you can reach them at 360-696-0206. You can also connect with The Grind Coffeehouse on Facebook.
