Day 266 of 365…
Allowing kids to be creative and explore art in their world is so important and Young Art is here just for this purpose. They provide high quality art supplies to our community. Here you’ll find a huge assortment of oil pastels, colored pencils, watercolors, watercolor pencils, sketch books, brushes and various other art supplies. You’ll also find some cool toys and die cast cars. They have some awesome pencil sharpeners like I’ve never seen before. They are quite elaborate and you can even choose how sharp you want the pencil to be.
Both of their Vancouver locations offer Art Lessons that you can sign up for. Here you’ll learn all sorts of wonderful things. The following is from their website…
The art lesson program presents students with an inspiring environment to understand watercolor technique, pastels, sketching, oil painting, and animation using YOUNG ART’s quality products. Each art session takes students through a variety of compositions, covering still life, landscape, portrait, animals, floral, abstract, and even animation styles.
At their downtown Vancouver location you’ll also find the Young Art Fashion Store where you can purchase quality clothing, gifts and accessories for children and youth.
Young Art offers birthday party packages for those wanting to get artsy and creative for a great birthday alternative.
Young Art has two locations to serve us. They are located in East Vancouver at 1901 NE 162nd Ave, D-104 Vancouver, WA 98684 and can be reached at 360-852-8632. They are also located across the street from Esther Short Park at 420 W 8th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660 and can be reached at 360-699-3050.
