Day 277 of 365…
It is just about time for the annual lighting of the community Christmas tree in Esther Short Park. On Friday, November 26th at 5:30pm our tree will be lit in a big community party. I was at the lighting ceremony a couple years ago and video’d some of the festivities. Here is a little bit of the fun with that years special musical guest, Vancouver’s own Patrick Lamb.
This all takes place in Propstra Square by the Salmon Belltower in the southeast corner. There will be entertainment, refreshments, elves and even Santa will be making an appearance. I hear he’s coming in by train this year. The cost to attend is FREE but they will be taking non-perishable food donations. Please do your part in bringing some good stuff to donate for those less fortunate.
You definitely need to stop in downtown Vancouver at Esther Short Park on Friday to sing in the holidays with our annual Christmas Tree lighting. It’s a lot of fun!
