Day 300: The Atrium Lounge

Day 300 of 365…

Wow! It’s hard to believe today is the 300th day in a row I’ve written a blog post here. Tonight I met up with my wonderful friend Cheryl Bledsoe (author of awesome Engaging Others blog) and we grabbed a bite and drink at The Atrium Lounge in downtown Vancouver. She’s been telling me I need to check out The Atrium for some time and tonight was the night.

This place is very cool. It is a full service bar and therefore is a 21 and older establishment. Since tonight was Monday we were able to take advantage of their Monday Night $1 Burgers. With any beverage order you can add a full sized tasty burger for only $1. This burger was excellent and what a bargain at only a dollar. We shared an order of their cajunized tater tots (which is a good thing because it’s huge). She said I had to try the Strawberry Basil Lemonade and let me tell you, it rocked!

The Atrium Lounge has an awesome vibe to it and they offer specials, activities and music almost every day of the week. Apparently the Friday and Saturday night scene is quite the place to be. On their website is simply says… *Eat*Drink*Dance*Lounge* I love that. So simple and fun. Here’s a quick snapshot of their weekly calendar:

Monday: Monday night football. $6 Domestic Pitchers, $8 MicroBrews. $1 Burgers all day & night. Free Billiards.
Tuesday: Open Mic Night. 9pm. Tab for performers. Drink Specials for customers.
Friday & Saturday: Live music from 6-9. 9pm-2am featuring DJ Playtime & DJ Gigahurtz with special guest DJ’s each week.
Sunday: Football shown all day. Happy Hour all day. Free Billiards.
