It’s Sunday and Sunday’s are for getting away. This week I want to take you all to a very special place. A magical place. A place you can get away to almost every day of the week.
Port of Danger Bay
Before you run off to Google to ask where the Port of Danger Bay is, let me tell ya. It’s in Minnesota. Before you go looking at a map to find it, I’ll tell you right now. You won’t find it. Why? Because the Port of Danger Bay lives in cyber-land. Yes, it lives inside our computers and inside your mind once you’ve visited there.
Port of Danger Bay is a wonderful piece of Cyber-Fiction that has been living on the interwebs since July of 2007. It has aged and matured like a fine wine. It keeps getting better and better.
Port of Danger Bay is written by my friend Boomer Jack of Saint Paul, MN. Probably one of the most amazing things about Danger Bay is the artwork. All the art you see there is created by Boomer Jack in MS Word! He calls them photo-graphic images. They are a combination of real life photos mixed with the drawing tools of MS Word. If you are curious how difficult this is, open MS Word and start drawing. You’ll quickly see how truly talented Boomer Jack is (have to say, the writings pretty darn amazing too).
For anyone who enjoys a creative, fun filled cyber-tale I’d suggest you get away immediately to the Port of Danger Bay. A place where the pups have voices, the residents go on crazy adventures, there is never a shortage of cyber-coffee [___]D, the scenery is amazing and you never know what’s coming next. Please go and check it out. Read back a bit and catch up with the story. It is worth it! You never know who you might meet in Danger Bay? Maybe even a few real life people who’ve been transported into this cyber-fiction tale. See if you recognize anyone…
All “photo-graphic images” courtesy of Boomer Jack. Thank you!
